TPS Trades & Hiring Fair
When: Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Tacoma Dome, 2727 E D St, Tacoma, WA 98421

Join Tacoma Public Schools, the City of Tacoma, and Korsmo Construction for the annual Trades & Hiring Fair, an event focused on workforce opportunities for those 16-24 years old. 

This free event is open to all Pierce County youth, families and community members, including current high school students, recent graduates, and young adults. TPS students can reach out to their school office staff or CTE teachers to register. 

What to Expect:

• Meet 100+ employers across high-demand industries such as construction, skilled trades, healthcare, maritime and more
• Connect with colleges, training centers and apprenticeship programs
• Learn how you can earn college credit and industry-recognized credentials while still in high school
• Preview the new Maritime|253 Skills Center, a regional skills center opening in 2026
• Learn more about our Jobs 253 and Tacoma FLEX programs

Many employers are hiring on-site, interviewing for internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level careers. Bring your resume!

Free Transportation with Pierce Transit

Students can ride free to the Trades & Hiring Fair from three Tacoma pickup hubs:

• Star Center
• Eastside Community Center
