Hello Families,

This is Baker Principal Amy Latimer with your weekly updates.  We only have two days of school this week. Monday and Tuesday.  Wednesday through Friday we will be off for Thanksgiving break. We will be having free dress on Monday and Tuesday.  Our students were so well behaved at our Veterans’ Day Assembly. They made us so proud that we decided to reward them with two free dress days.  Please know that free dress still needs to follow the guidelines that are outlined in the student handbook.  The student handbook is available online.

There is no afterschool tutoring this week and no Bulldog Center.  We will resume after the break.

We are asking for your support in not sending students to school with energy drinks.  We know that we are all tired, but the adverse effects of energy drinks at school creates disruptions in the classroom that take a lot of effort for our teachers to manage. If we see students with energy drinks, we will be taking them and holding them in the office for the students to retrieve after school. Thank you for your cooperation.
